UNLEASH YOUR INNER-CHAMPION
Mental Performance Training Series for Soccer Players looking to take their game to the next level!
Saturdays, 11:30am – 12:45pm
October 4th, 11th, 25th, November 1st 2025
With all the pressure to perform that comes with being a competitive athlete, it’s easy to focus on not making mistakes instead of what drives you to play your sport. When you focus on not making mistakes you play tense, don’t take risks, and are more passive.

Do you ‘get into your head’, ‘overthink it’, or find yourself comparing yourself to teammates/opponents and wondering if you ‘have what it takes?’ Unleash Your Inner Champion is a mental training series for high school and college-aged soccer players who want to play with more freedom and confidence.

Session 1: Discover What Drives You Oct 4th, 11:30am – 12:45pm
Uncover the personal motivations that fuel your love for the game. In this session, players will explore why they play, what matters most to them as athletes, and how to tap into that purpose to stay focused and energized—especially during challenges.
Session 2: What Holds You Back? Oct 11th, 11:30am – 12:45pm
Every athlete faces mental hurdles—doubt, frustration, fear of failure. In this session, players will identify their common mental blocks and learn practical tools to manage pressure, mistakes, and negative self-talk so they can bounce back faster and play more freely.
Session 3: Be the Player You Want to Be Oct 25th 11:30am – 12:45pm
Confidence isn’t something you wait for—it’s something you build. In this session, players will define who they want to be on the field, then learn mindset and habit strategies to show up that way more consistently, even when the game gets tough.
Session 4: What Does Success Look Like? (Creating & Executing a Plan) November 1st 11:30am – 12:45pm
Big goals don’t happen by accident—they happen on purpose. In this final session, players will clarify what success looks like to them, set meaningful goals, and create an action plan they can stick to—on and off the field.

THE INNER GAME SERIES
Mental Performance Training Series for Tennis and Pickleball players looking to take their game to the next level!
Mondays 5 – 6pm, Asheville Racquet Club South
September 15th, 22nd, 29th, October 6th 2025
The pressure to perform can change the way you play. Instead of going for your shots, you start playing it safe—just trying to keep the ball in—afraid to miss. You tense up, stop taking smart chances, and your game becomes more about avoiding mistakes than creating winning points.

If you’ve ever caught yourself stuck in your head, overanalyzing every stroke, or comparing yourself to other players and wondering if you have what it takes, you’re not alone.
The Inner Game is a mental training series for tennis and pickleball players of any age or ability who want to step onto the court with more freedom, confidence, and trust in their game.

Session 1: What’s Holding you Back? Overcome the Mental Hurdles That Keep You From Performing at Your Best September 15th 5 – 6pm
Every athlete faces mental barriers—doubt, pressure, frustration, fear of failure. But the difference between good and great often comes down to how well you understand and manage what’s happening between your ears.
In this interactive workshop, you’ll learn to identify the internal blocks that are limiting your performance and develop strategies to break through them. Whether it’s overthinking mistakes, struggling to stay confident, or losing focus under pressure, you’ll walk away with tools to reset your mindset and perform with more clarity, freedom, and control.
Session 2: The Inner Game Advantage Timeless Mental Techniques from “The Inner Game of Tennis” to Elevate Your Performance September 22nd 5 – 6pm
Based on the classic sport psychology book The Inner Game of Tennis by W. Timothy Gallwey, this workshop explores the mental habits that separate good athletes from great ones. You’ll learn how to quiet your inner critic, stay present under pressure, and let your natural ability come through—without overthinking every move.
Through practical exercises and relatable examples, you’ll discover how to shift from tension to trust, and from control to flow. Whether you’re a tennis player or an athlete in another sport, these tools will help you play more freely, consistently, and confidently.
Session 3: See it First: Visualization for Confidence and Game-Day Readiness September 29th 5 – 6pm
Prepare for how you will respond to challenges, visualize success to help you believe it will happen, rehearse routines, and mentally practice skill execution. Before every great performance, there’s a moment when the athlete already saw it happen—in their mind.
This workshop teaches you how to use visualization as a powerful mental skill to prepare for pressure, increase confidence, and improve consistency. Through guided practice and strategies, you will learn how to mentally rehearse key moments so they can show up on game day feeling focused, ready, and in control.

Session 4: Activate Your Alter Ego Step into the Strongest Version of yourself when it Matters Most October 6th 5 – 6pm
Every elite performer has a “next level” version of themselves—a mindset they tap into when the pressure’s high and the lights are bright. In this creative and powerful workshop, athletes will learn how to create and use an Alter Ego: a performance identity built around their strengths, values, and best qualities.
Rather than trying to “fake confidence” or “push through nerves,” this session teaches you to step into a version of yourself that is focused, fearless, and fully capable of competing at your best.
